From Small To tiny...
Went out for MSSA's farewell dinner last night. Sob sob..so many farewells to bid, so many tears to shed..Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get to touch base with these wonderful souls that I've gotten to know at some point in my life..

Oh if you're wondering what fancy-schmancy meaning MSSA bears..not too original actually. Basically 'Malaysian-Singaporean Student Association'. What's hilarious though is we only have one Singaporean member which happens to be our beloved president..haha..
Kinda sad, the population of Malaysian students at UGA is rapidly declining..I heard during the peak time in the early 90s, there were like 50 over folks from home. But come this fall, there'll only be like 5..yes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I can count all heads with 5 fingers.
Nevertheless I have to stress that although we're small in number but we're enormous in effort and sincerity! We always give our best during Coffee Hour and all festivals!
So back to last night, we headed to the relatively new Siri Thai Cuisine restaurant. Upon arrival, we were mersmerized by the authentic decorations and mellow atmosphere.

We started with the fabulous appetizer. It had tofu, shrimp rolls, wanton, and shrimps served with wondrous lemon peanut sauce and sweet chilli sauce. Then we savored some much-needed Tom-Yum soup! Allie and I were the only ones who went with the 3-degree hot spicy. The others wimped out with only a mild. But really, I could feel the bonfire spreading through every inch of lining in my stomach. Smoking!

The Gai-Yang was really good. The rice was very flavorful. The Eggplant Basil was tasty with a good combination of spice and flava.

Can't go wrong with Green Curry. However it wasn't as good as I thought. It was pretty creamy. I guess it is Thai-style afterall. And of course, can't go to a Thai restaurant and not order Pad-Thai. It's like going to Thailand without visiting Bangkok. Might as well not go right? I think I've made my point =) But the noodles were extremely scrumptious.

After dinner, we headed over to The Winery for 'a couple' of drinks with Emily and some other friends. That couple of drinks kinda doubled along the way..But I really enjoyed the champagne though..especially the Chambord & Champagne. It was definitely a fantabulous night people-watching and socializing!

2 Dreamers on my Land
The best memories are those which are shared by many. Every story has an end, but we live through chapters; the end of one chapter, the beginning of another. We may meet Legolas, fairies, venomous giant spiders throughout these chapters, but more importantly, we meet friends. It's through friends that we share our chapters in life. Our versions may vary, but these chapters are common to us as friendship. ---- So much of philosophy from me, :) Congrats for making it for your very first degree! Sign: Deh Hui
Awww, I hear ya, Khar. I hear ya.
I wonder if we'll ever get the ol' gang together... Michelle, Rezi, Gautham, Gigi, Roy... ah, those days were good. :)
